We are looking for a 3rd line support technician to join our client’s support team based just outside Bristol. Our client specialises in managing IT infrastructure for their clients across the whole of the UK and this would be a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career, whilst ensuring they stay at the heart of the constantly developing technology market.

What would you do?
Manage back-ups and the health of back up storage spaces
Support and maintain Microsoft Server/desktops and Exchange/Office 365 environments
Undertake IT project work as instructed by the projects team
Maintain and update client networks
Provide constant support to 1st and 2nd Line to help improve their knowledge
Ensure all knowledge base documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Quality check all hardware before it is shipped to customers
Resolve issues within agreed SLAs
Work in a way that is consistent with the company’s values
What are we looking for?
Minimum 2 years exposure to Virtualisation technologies e.g. Hyper-V/ VMware
Experience of enterprise-grade Storage tech
Multi Factor Authentication
Mobile device management
Exposure to Microsoft Azure/Cloud technologies
Experience with Powershell
Experience with enterprise grade Firewalls/Routers/Switches
Experience with Cloud managed WiFi
Experience of SIP/VoIP technologies
Solid understanding of Active Directory / Group Policy / DNS
