NPI Program Manager - Large Engines - Stafford - Contract

NPI Program Manager - Large Engines - Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of Large Engines focused NPI projects.
  • Establish project management plan and use the plan to manage product delivery.
  • Plan and manage resources for implementing changes.
  • Assist in evaluating requests.
  • Manage large NPI projects to ensure they are on time, within budget, and aligned with the product strategy.
  • Build relationships with other departments within the NPI program team. Assist in marketing the NPI process to customers. Identify cost containment opportunities. Identify trends and areas of focus for continuous improvement.
  • The position guides and coaches both junior members of the project management team as well as global cross functional areas representatives assigned to the relative NPI program.

NPI Program Manager - Large Engines - Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Knowledge of company products and/or electric power product applications is beneficial.
  • A university degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of project and management job-related experience.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and work with diverse groups to reach consensus is required.
  • Communication skills are critical.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential as well as project management efficiency.
