Project Management Assistant – Peterborough/Hybrid WFH (50/50 split)  

Initial 12 month contract – likely to extend as long as the business need is there!

Up to £14.80 per hour PAYE/Up to £19.62 per hour via an umbrella company

We’re looking for a Project Management Assistant to work in the Project Management Team (PMO) at a global supplier of world class engines in Peterborough, working 50/50 from home/Peterborough office.

Daily tasks for the Project Management Assistant will include:

  • Support and follow policies/procedures for project management in the office
  • Work with colleagues and customer teams to facilitate and develop basic project schedules
  • Enter project data from planning sessions and schedule updates, work with project team members and the supervisor to resolve schedule and logic errors
  • Maintain a project Sharepoint site including management of templates & database structure
  • Create routine report packages and communicate program status

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Experience working within a Project Management Office/Environment
  • Computer literate and background using Office 365
  • An effective communicator, with good interpersonal skills
  • A team player, who is keen to learn and support/help others to complete PMO tasks
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Desirable: any previous experience in business practices such as Lean Six Sigma
