Senior Test & Development Engineer - Peterlee

Hourly Rates £24.47 (PAYE) or £38 (Umbrella)

We’re looking for a Senior Test and Development Engineer to work on an initial 6 month contract for a global Off Highway Machinery Manufacturer in Peterlee. The successful Engineer will be part of a team reporting to the Test & Development Engineering Manager and will primarily carry out Articulated Truck validation duties.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience at a world leader in construction and mining equipment who are creating innovative, cutting-edge products for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Understanding customers test requirements
  • Agreeing deliverables in a technical contract
  • Planning/set up of data logging systems to capture required data
  • Performance of testing
  • Detailed analysis to develop understanding
  • Technical reporting of validation against regulatory and commercial specifications.

 

Ideal background will include;

  • Experience of working in a design/development environment
  • Experience of demonstrating product capability against specifications
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform complex assignments
