Stock Administrator - Peterborough

Initial 12-month contract - likely to extend as long as the business need is there!

Up to £12.91 per hour PAYE, Umbrella contracts also available

We’re looking for a Stock Administrator to work in the Europe R&D Centre of a global supplier of world class engines in Peterborough, working full time on site.

Daily tasks for the Stock Administrator will include:

  • Management of Gases & Parts inventories – including picking/storing of stock
  • Take orders for stock from the rest of the team, and process the orders
  • Take feedback from the team re quality/damaged parts/stock & address with the suppliers
  • Compile and maintain confidential records
  • Set up appointments, scheduling meetings, distribute reports and manage correspondence between the office & external bodies
  • Ensure customer/supplier/vendor relationships are maintained
  • Manage shipping and transportation of instruments
  • Continuous Improvement - assist management on reducing costs/improving procedures

What we’re looking for from you:

  • MS Office and previous administrative experience is required
  • Stock management would be advantageous – but can be taught
  • Attention to detail with the ability to keep information organised and confidential
  • An effective communicator at all the levels of the business - internally & externally
  • You will need to be physically able to move stock and operate lifting equipment
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
