Are you a highly skilled engineer with expertise in Power Electronics, ready to take a lead role in shaping next-generation technologies? We’re seeking an Electronic Design Team Lead to drive innovation in high-voltage systems, charging technologies and battery management systems, while mentoring a talented team of engineers.
This is a 70% hands-on, 30% leadership position - ideal for someone who loves technical problem-solving and design work, while also guiding and developing a small, agile engineering team.
You’ll play a pivotal role in projects focused on advanced charging solutions, power conversion, power control and power management, contributing to the development of sustainable technologies for the future.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead & Mentor - Oversee a team of electronic design engineers using agile methodologies; guide technical strategy, design reviews and continuous improvement
· Hands-On Design (70%) - Develop power electronics circuits and PCB layouts for high-voltage, battery charging and energy management applications
· New Product Development - Drive projects from concept to production, ensuring reliability, efficiency and compliance
· Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with production, test and service teams to optimise design performance and manufacturability
Skills & Experience Required:
· Degree in Power Electronics, Embedded Electronics, or a related discipline.
· Proven experience in circuit design and PCB layout.
· Strong understanding of power conversion, control, charging and battery management systems.
· Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, PSUs, analysers, function generators, etc.).
· Leadership experience and familiarity with agile team management practices.
