Role is based on site in Chard, Somerset - hybrid, flexible working patterns
Salary £35K - £57K (DOE) plus generous benefits including relocation allowance (if required), Company pension and life insurance, wellness and health programmes and a lunchtime finish on a Friday!

Joining the R&D team as Embedded Firmware Engineer, what would you do?
- You will join the autonomous development program, working with the latest technologies, developing game changing autonomous vehicles and other future generation products
- Bring your embedded software knowledge and passion for science and technology, to research complex and innovative engineering solutions
- Help drive growth through innovation and supporting future product roadmap

What are we looking for?
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Embedded Firmware Engineer role
- Experience developing embedded firmware for MCU platforms in C without RTOS
- Experience with driver level code
- C# experience an advantage
- GIT/Bitbucket experience an advantage
- Proficiency solving and debugging real world embedded applications.
- Experience working with leading MCU providers ARM, ST, Microchip, TI etc.
- Industrial protocol experience RS232, CAN BUS, I2C, SPI etc.
- Familiarity using schematic diagrams
- Demonstrable experience with lab equipment i.e. scopes, PSU, protocol analysers.
