IT Support Analyst - Peterborough

Initial 12 Month Contract

Competitive Hourly Rate available

The IT Support Analyst will provide Operational support at the Peterborough facility for the Manufacturing Execution systems used at the site. The successful candidate will also provide Operational support for 4 other regional sites based in Asia, Brazil, and North America, in addition to participating in an On-Call rota once fully trained.

The IT Support Analyst will have strong communication and problem-solving skills working at different levels of the business with ideally a manufacturing background. Technical experience in PL\SQL techniques to help analyse issues is crucial and whilst the role will not require administration of servers an understanding of Windows and Linux is preferable. A number of applications are host on the Oracle WebLogic platform using forms and ADF, so any experience in these would be beneficial, as would thin client architecture that is used across the facility.

Experience required

  • Proven experience in working in an Operational Role with ITSM background.

  • Proven experience in problem solving in complex \ multiple environments

  • Proven experience with PL\SQL tools.

  • Desired to have some experience on a Linux platform command line or Windows Platform

  • Desired to have some experience in Python, Shell Scripting

  • Desired to have experience on Dell Thin Clients.

  • Desired to have experience on Oracle WebLogic ADF or Forms applications
