CNC Setter Operators- Clevedon

Are you looking to join an established, well known Manufacturer? Do you have experience in operating CNC Machines? If yes, this could be the role for you...

Our client, a major manufacturer of bearings for the automotive and aerospace industry, is looking to expand the team.  Up to Five Skilled CNC Setter Operators reporting directly to the Shift Managers. The roles will be shift-based.

Preferred disciplines are Turning, Milling, 4 and 5 Axis machining. Candidates with an extensive knowledge and experience in Thread rolling should also apply

An attractive salary package with pension, flexi hours, and shift allowance on offer.

What would you do?

  • Setting and operating of CNC Machinery in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Working to aerospace quality standards.
  • Working within specified policies and procedures.
  • Participation in continual improvement activities.
  • Running multiple machines where possible.

What are we looking for?

  • Preferably holds an ONC/HNC/HND.
  • Has a strong CNC manufacturing background.
  • Can demonstrate successfully supporting improvement activities.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Can work as part of a team and demonstrates flexibility.
  • Understand NC programs and DNC awareness.
