Engine Component Development Engineer – Peterborough (WFH Hybrid working)

Are you looking for a new opportunity with a leading engine OEM? One working with the latest engine technology where customer focus, and innovation is at the core of what they do? We have a number of component engineering assignments on offer to help the Company meet the deadlines of some really exciting projects that are coming up! Whilst the positions are based from their site in Peterborough, there are opportunitis for you to WFH.  

Engineers should be experienced in performing several of the below:

There’s real component ownership required for these role so we’re looking for technical project leadership of the delivery of engine components & systems which includes;

  • Data analysis, development & validation 
  • Problem resolution on engine component and systems.
  • Assessment and data analysis of component / system level issues
  • Component supplier management and collaboration.
  • Conducting FMEA on components and systems
  • Support field and production issues, diagnose issues to root cause, put in place containment actions, and develop permanent corrective actions.

To be considered please ensure your CV reflects:

  • Strong technical background (technical degree preferred in mechanical or automotive engineering) though other qualifications / experience will be considered.
  • IC engine knowledge 
  • Working with suppliers
  • Creating / maintaining FMEA
  • Executing DVP – component, rig and supplier testing
  • Working knowledge of APQP
  • Issue resolution
