Handy Person - Part Time

Clevedon, UK

Join our well-established manufacturing team in Clevedon and make a valuable contribution to our success. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handy Person to assist with various maintenance tasks.

This part-time position (2 days per week) offers an excellent opportunity to start your journey with us, with the potential for increased hours and ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Handy Person at our manufacturing facility in Clevedon, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Painting and Decorating: You will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our facilities by performing painting and decorating tasks. This includes touch-ups, painting walls, and ensuring a fresh and welcoming environment for our team.
  • Basic Plumbing: Handling minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and other basic plumbing maintenance as required.
  • Cleaning: Keeping our facilities clean and orderly, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Working at Heights: Being comfortable and skilled in working at heights when needed for maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar handy person or maintenance role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of painting, decorating, and plumbing.
  • Willingness to work at heights when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
