Maintenance Engineer

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a thriving manufacturer based in Caunton Newark.

Core responsibilities will include the ongoing maintenance of all plant equipment on site where you will become the go-to engineer for any faults or breakdowns.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to facility breakdowns using fault finding to effectively conduct repairs using a variety of techniques.
- Cover the maintenance, repair and installation of facility equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment acting as the lead engineer.
- Run improvement and root cause investigation projects and present findings through technical presentations to the wider teams and management.
Requirements:
- Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent and/or relevant job-related experience.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of maintenance processes and tools, equipment and processes plus familiarity with materials and quality objectives.
- Competent welder fabricator
- Good overall knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
