Product Marketing Manager - Engineering

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (Flexible/ Hybrid working arrangements)

Base salary up to £60,000

Benefits:  Up to 18% Bonus, Car Allowance - £600pcm, 25 days annual leave,

As Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of engineering products, where you will identify, evaluate and develop business cases for opportunities of new market segments that support sales growth objectives and improve profitability.

It’s an incredible opportunity whereby you will lead a team accountable for the launch of products to market. Developing future sustainable product strategies within the power generation market.

Core responsibilities will include;

  • Lead the Sales & Marketing to develop business cases aligned to customers and market requirements
  • Turn input from the customers and markets into actionable product requirements
  • Ensure Business Development cases are presented to senior management
  • Work with wider marketing teams to develop and execute the product market plans
  • Be the customer champion throughout the NPI process
  • Participate in developing multi-year product plans, provide competitive analysis to support business planning
  • Interpret competitive current and future capabilities and plans across a broad range of industries and markets and provide financial analysis into the strategic planning process

What are we looking for from you;

  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Business Management, Marketing or engineering subject
  • Progressive experience within Business-to-Business Marketing
  • Previous customer facing experience or sales experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation to both internal and external audiences
