Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Desford LE9 (Onsite Role)
12 Month Contract – high chance of extending for the right person
37.5 hours a week: Mon-Fri 07:00 – 15:00 / 08:00 – 16:00 (some flexibility on start/finish times)
Up to £16.90 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £23.10

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our client’s Supply Chain Team in Desford. This is an initial 12 month contract which has a high chance to extend for the right person! The manufacturing facility, build several products on the line each day – you’ll play a critical part of the supply chain and be responsible for gathering packaging information & supplier lead time from production part suppliers, there’s a lot of variety of people to work with! You’ll then update the internal packaging database and systems accordingly.
What will the Supply Chain Planning Analyst do?
- Work in the Supply Chain team dealing with global suppliers (Japan, China, India, Europe, US etc.)
- Support and gather data from suppliers, this is critical work which supports production projects
- Gather packaging information & supplier lead time from suppliers, and update internal systems
- Assist with the validation of internal plan for every part parameters in the current ERP system
What skills and experience will the Supply Chain Planning Analyst need?
Essential:
- Excellent written and verbal communication – this is key within this assignment
- Self-motivated individual who is a confident speaker, with excellent organisational skills
- Advanced Excel knowledge (be able to create pivot tables, use v lookups, able to use flow charts)
- An analytical and critical thinker who can make decisions, investigate root causes and solve problems
- Business process improvement best practices, Project Management and Logistics Management
Desirable:
- Supply Chain Experience – we’re looking more into the individual’s skillset & approach to the work
- SAP and Power BI experience
