Commissioning Engineer

Worcester

Full Time - 40 hours per week

Our client, a specialist manufacturer who offers a unique combination of experience and ability in all aspects of engine, transmission, component, and vehicle testing, has just made available a Permanent opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join their team based in Worcester.

The Commissioning Engineer role is one which is predominantly site based on various clients sites throughout the UK and act as the person responsible for the safe and successful handover of systems to customers on site.

Key Responsibilities of the Commissioning Engineer

  • Installation of HW / SW on site
  • Commissioning on Customer sites - Ranging from small upgrades to full facility installation and Commissioning
  • Customer Support remote and on Customer sites          
  • Fault finding/diagnosis of Hardware and Automation Software
  • In House HW Test
  • In house SW Test
  • Programming of PLC's
  • Customer Training at customer facilities.

Qualifications and Experience Required for the Commissioning Engineer role

  • Solid understanding of Control SW/logic
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical/Electrical installations and fault finding
  • Experience of Electrical Commissioning
  • Experience with Pneumatics Commissioning
  • Experience with Hydraulics Commissioning
  • Full driving licence and Passport
  • Experience of PLC Commissioning
  • Significant travel possibilities including UK and International
  • Experience in Powertrain/Engine Testing - BENEFICAIL NOT ESSENTIAL
