Peterborough PE1 (Onsite Role)
Initial 12 Month Contract – likely to extend for the right person!
Hours: 37 a week, Mon to Thurs 08:30 to 16:45, Fri 08:30 to 16:15
Up to £32.45 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £44.00

Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of a world class range of engines, they are looking to extend their Project Management team in Peterborough, with a Project Manager. You’ll be responsible for projects from cradle to grave; project planning from scratch, managing the project and team through the project plan. You could be involved in a number of different projects, where every day is different!
What skills and experience will the Project Manager need?
Essential:
- You’ll lead allocated projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to cost and quality - so will need demonstrable experience of this (a minimum of 3 years’ experience is required)
- MS Project experience is key - must possess extensive knowledge of PM software
- Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage stakeholders
- MS Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Web Publishing tools
- Excel data manipulation (complex formulas, linking multiple worksheets, pivot tables, graphs)
Desirable:
- Project resource loading/portfolio resource management and project/portfolio cost management experience
- Professional training in leading and facilitating meetings
- Prince 2/PMP or equivalent qualification
