This is an experienced Project Manager's dream opportunity, a role where you will lead a crucial MRP system implementation within an established and well-known manufacturing and engineering business located within North Somerset (just off the M5). This role is full-time, with flexibility to work up to two days a week from home once you're settled in. Within your role, you will be working cross-functionally across all departments, including senior leadership, to guarantee a successful delivery of this business-critical project, and you will be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where ownership, communication, and continuous improvement are seen and valued.
What you will be doing:
- Setting out project needs to action timelines
- Setting a clear plan for the MRP system rollout, with realistic timelines and milestones
- Coordinating people across different departments, as well as external suppliers
- Ensuring accuracy of MRP data (including BOMs and inventory details)
- Acting as the go-between for different teams
- Improving how the MRP system is used and making those changes happen

What you need:
- Someone with PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Solid experience rolling out ERP or MRP systems, ideally with some automation involved
- A background in managing projects within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Good working knowledge of BOMs, routings, and production scheduling
- Organised, reliable, and confident in managing your own workload
