Shipping Co-Ordinator
Peterborough – Full time on site
Initial 12 Month Contract – Extensions very likely
37 hours a week: Mon – Fri 08:00-16:00 Fri 08:00-15:30 – some flexibility re start/finish times
Up to £16.65 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £22.50 – depending on experience

If that sounds like you, this exciting opportunity could be a great fit. We’re looking for a Shipping Coordinator to play a key role in planning, arranging, and processing shipments for our global customer base.
What will you do?
- Arrange the dispatch of products to customers based on available stock
- Coordinate with carriers and customers to agree on collection schedules
- Send all required shipment documentation to the appropriate contacts
- Prepare, submit, and record export entries for goods being sent overseas
Ideally we’re looking for?
- Experience in exports or a background in transportation and booking; We also recognise that candidates from customer service backgrounds have highly transferable skills.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to process detailed information precisely
- Excellent customer service skills, with confidence in resolving issues both internally and externally
- A proactive and organised approach, able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Confident and clear communication skills when dealing with different teams and customers
- Desirable: Experience in UK import/export processes would be highly beneficial
