37.5hours a week: Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:00(some flexibility on start/finish times)
£12.72PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rate also available
We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Globally renowned Fortune 100engineering client’s Aftermarket team in Desford. THIS IS A BRAND NEW ROLE, WHICHYOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN! You’ll work in a pan-European environment, with different countries, cultures, and stakeholders and will play a critical part in the department’s success; by coordinating projects and deployment activities around dealer performance and engagement.
What will the Administrative Assistant do?
· Answer the telephone, take messages and answer routine questions
· Maintain the vacation schedule and master schedule of whereabouts for staff
· Maintain master copies of organisational policy and procedure manuals and keep them up-to-date
· Type and distribute memos, meeting minutes and presentations for staff
· Facilitate domestic and international travel arrangements; assisting in payments, expense processing, and charge card reconciliation.
What skills and experience will the Administrative Assistant need?
Essential:
· Strong administrative background, 2–3 years’ experience minimum
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Proactive, self-driven, well organised and reliable mindset
· Accountability, initiative & ownership to drive actions to completion
· Ability to drive stakeholders to ensure collaboration, and follow-up/track actions to completion
· Excellent written & verbal communications, used to liaising with internal and external stakeholders
· Microsoft Office user (Excel,Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Desirable:
· Any dealer-related experience (automotive, motorcycles, machinery, equipment / machinery sales or service.)
