Field Service Engineer - Electrical

Location: Ideally based within the East of England/Midlands region, covering an area including Luton, Leicester, Peterborough, Norwich, Colchester, Chelmsford and surrounding locations

40 hrs per week (OT might be available)

Salary up to £39,000 + Excellent company benefits!

 

We are looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of standby power solutions. This role offers the chance to work with a company that oversees the full lifecycle of its products - from design and production through to installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance - supporting a wide range of critical power applications across the UK and beyond.

Core duties will include;

·        To organise & complete service visits

·        To position, install, commission, and repair equipment at customer sites

·        Extensive travel within the UK and occasionally may be asked to travel outside the UK.

 

Depending on the service and installation requirements, this role may, at times, cross over into sales and technical support

Travel – expect plenty of travel, with overnight stays on an average weekly basis. Some overseas travel could be available

 

What we’re looking for fromyou;

·        A Field Service Engineer who’s experienced working at customer sites

·        Someone with demonstrable experience working to a safe manner

 

Qualifications / Knowledgerequired;

·        18th edition (desirable) - test and inspect

·        Electronic fault finding to component level

·        Ability to read and interpret schematic wiring diagrams and associated technical drawings

·        Microsoft Word & Excel

·        Knowledge of IEC wiring regulations
