Stafford (ST16 - fully onsite role)
6 month contract
37 hours a week worked over 4 days! Mon - Thurs 6:45 am to 4:30 pm. Potential for overtime
Up to £21.62 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £29.34 (depending on experience)
We’re looking for a Facilities Engineer for a global supplier of world class engines in Stafford. The team are responsible for driving continuous improvement, construction and infrastructure projects across the facility. Facilities Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Deliver facility building projects to deadlines, budget & quality + report key milestones to stakeholders
- Support and contribute to safety targets, revenue costs, quality, performance
- Develop clear project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates aligned with business and operational requirements
- Ensure project documentation is complete (scope, drawings, permits, RAMS)
- Support procurement activities, including contractor selection and technical evaluations
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead final inspections, snag lists, commissioning, and handover to operations
Facilities Engineer - Key skills & experience required
· Previous facilities experience within engineering/manufacturingor civils/construction - managing improvement projects and facility upgradesinto a facility
· Experience leading projects / project management
· Understanding and knowledge of risk & safety and compliance requirements
· Experience of managing contractors and/or suppliers
· Desirable : IOSH Managing Safety certification, IPAF MEWP For Managers, FM Global Hot Works
